What We Do

The PTO operates on an annual budget, which is approved by PTO Officers vote as needed. The money used to sponsor PTO activities is raised through PTO fundraisers and events throughout the year. The PTO allocates fundraising proceeds to supplement the students' educational, social, and emotional needs that fall outside the MPS approved school budget.

The PTO provides the Annual Fall Picnic, Field Day and Classroom Funds. We also organize and host the Scholastic Book Fairs, Halloween Dance, 8th Grade Grad T-Shirts, Staff Dinners at Parent-Teacher Conferences, Teacher Appreciation Week, Curriculum Workshops, Sponsor Classroom Fundraisers and Field Trips, as well as assisting the BVM Fund with other events throughout the year.

Mini grants help pay for special request from our staff or supplement other costs for students. The PTO supports school and family social interaction and provides a non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children.

Color Pencils

"The land is where our roots are. The children must be taught to feel and live in harmony with the earth."

MARIA MONTESSORI

Our support complements the Montessori school curriculum and provides opportunities to build inclusive relationships in our community
